New Work: Enormous Tiny Art Show

I love tiny things… especially tiny art. Recently, I was invited to be part of the Enormous Tiny Art Show #35 with Nahcotta gallery in Portsmouth, NH. This wonderfully fun exhibit is filled with art of all kinds that is… of course, tiny. The works are available both in-person and online, and each piece is no bigger than 10x10 inches. That’s a lot of creative energy in a small package!

The work I’ve made for this show explores wonder and discovery in the creative process... those places that feel alive and vibrant with newness. I am always exploring new media in my work – chasing this essence of discovery as I go. In this work, I dove into endless combinations of cyanotype, eco-print, and encaustic wax that I had never tried before. Each layered piece revealing some new, tiny wonder about nature and creativity and how they beautify one another. For me, this work holds the feeling of that dreamlike state that working with nature and art always gives me.

I have a few other shows lined up for this year, and will soon be sharing more on the next one - which focuses on everyday magic. I hope you enjoy these beautiful, nature-inspired pieces as much as I enjoyed making them!
